Measuring tips for your spa
cover
Covers are custom-made to the
dimensions you provide. All cover dimension are in inches.
First, measure the dimensions of your spa. Measure from top
outside edge to top outside edge of your spa's shell rim.
The cover will need to fit over this. Then measure your old
cover and compare the dimensions. When in doubt, it is
better to make the overall cover size a bit bigger rather
than smaller. If the cover is too small it will not fit
properly and will not hold heat in properly.

2. Shape. Choose

3. Dimensions. Fill
in the dimensions in inches for each measurement that
applies to your cover's shape. Covers with measurements of

4. Hinge.
From the picture above, indicate the direction of the
cover's hinge (if the hinge runs parallel to measurement A,
then choose A.)

5. Rounded Corners. (If
your cover is round or has square corners, skip this item.)
If your cover has rounded corners, fill in the dimension of
the radius as shown below. Here's how to measure: if you
have a carpenter's square, place it on the outside corner of
your spa. If you don't have a carpenter's square, you can
use the side of a cardboard box or other stiff cardboard.
Measure from where the curve starts on your spa, to the
corner of the square. If you are not sure of this dimension,
make the radius dimension a bit smaller. If the dimension
you provide is too large, the cover may not fit. For
example, if you are not sure if this dimension should be 6"
or 6-1/2" go with the smaller of the two, for a radius
dimension of 6".

6. Skirt. Covers
typically have a skirt of fabric to cover and protect the
edge of the spa. The standard skirt length is 2 inches for
most models. If your spa is flush to a deck, no skirt may be
needed.
